L' Tavern " Lecci Piccinnu" , it is a familiar activity to conduction, situated to Avetrana and has been realized in a house of 1830 that conserve still the typical ceiling to star. Here we serve the " Menu to Km zero". To “Km zero” because the alimony, selected in the local enterprises oriented to the quality and cultivated in our fields, does not complete long travels from the place of production to that one of consumazione, that is it does not exceed 1 km. a concrete contribution to the spread of the tipicità it ages them of the territory (wine, insaccati, cheeses, yields, verdura) and to the respect of the atmosphere, because with the products to km zero the number of the vehicles is reduced on the roads. L' tavern " Lecci Piccinnu" june 2007 has been inaugurated the 6 for the first time; 6 August 2007 has organized the First Festival of lu purpu to the pignata one (sacred of the polpo to the " pignata"), that happening has found a large one, recalling beyond 2000 visitors between tourists and inhabitants of the countries limitrofi. 

The History of Avetrana

 Avetrana is situated to the center of the Salento. It, in fact confines with the province of C#lecce, Drinks a toast and Taranto, finding again itself therefore in the cultural heart of such region.
